CPA Introduces $5 Fridays
Calgarians are encouraged to rediscover downtown
(firmenpresse) - CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwire) -- 10/13/11 -- The Calgary Parking Authority (CPA) is introducing its $5 Fridays promotion where customers can park from 11 am on Friday until 6 am the next day for just $5. The promotion starts Friday, October 14 and runs every Friday until December 30, 2011.
"With the holiday season quickly approaching, we wanted to introduce a special rate for Calgarians wanting to visit downtown," said Acting General Manager Troy McLeod. "Calgary is home to a vibrant downtown core with great shopping, dining and entertainment. We're hoping our $5 Fridays promotion will help Calgarians rediscover what a great downtown we have."
Participating locations include:
"Providing this special parking rate is another incentive to bring Calgarians to the downtown core," said Maggie Schofield, Executive Director of the Calgary Downtown Association. "We are encouraged by the CPA's $5 Fridays. More downtown visitors ultimately means more support for our many downtown businesses and attractions."
CPA parkades are tied into the +15 system and provide easy access to all of the downtown sites including shopping, restaurants, theatres and other cultural event venues.
(i)Please note that this promotion does not include City Centre short-stay parking area set aside for patrons of the medical offices.
