On the Button: Jenson Best Bet for Back-To-Back Wins in Korea Report Sky Bet

(firmenpresse) - LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM -- (Marketwire) -- 10/14/11 -- specialists Sky Bet report that Jenson Button has been the best backed driver to win this weekend's Korean Grand Prix, with at least twice as many bets struck on him than any other driver.
As a result, the firm have trimmed Button to 7/2 from 4/1, making him second favourite behind Formula 1's' youngest ever double champion, Sebastian Vettel (6/4).
Talking to Sky Bet, Sky Sports' F1 expert Tony Jardine also tipped Button for victory in Yeongam: "I've got to go with the momentum of Jenson Button. He could get his fourth win of the year. No-one knows what the grip factor is going to be like and if anyone can explore the properties of the track, whether it's dry, damp or wet, it's going to be Jenson Button."
Lewis Hamilton edged his McLaren team-mate to be fastest in the rain-affected second-practice and was trimmed to 4/1 (from 9/2) to go one better than last year and take the chequered flag at Korea's demanding circuit.
Button's great recent form has seen him emerge as Sebastian Vettel's nearest challenger and victory in Japan last Sunday has reignited his ambition to win a second world title. Vettel had dominated Suzuka for the past two seasons and's Button's triumph, his third of the season, has boosted McLaren's hopes of challenging Red Bull in 2012.
Tony Jardine agrees that the McLarens will make a strong comeback next season: "If you are a betting man, I' d look to go for Jenson Button or Lewis Hamilton because I seriously believe McLaren will be a title threat next year."
Sky Bet customers are in clear agreement and have been quick to take the 7/1 offered on Button in next season's Drivers' Championship betting market. Button is ranked fourth in the betting, with Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton joint second favourites at 4/1 and Sebastian Vettel just 5/4 for a hat-trick of titles.
