In order that the motor is no longer the hygiene weak point of stainless steel belt conveyors, GEPPERT-Band now fits smooth-shelled motors, effective immediately. The unribbed surfaces of the motors can be cleaned effectively, so that dirt can no longer accumulate. Additionally, the unventilated design of the motors prevents further dirt particles from being sucked in and reduces the possibility of deposits.
In order that the motor is no longer the hygiene weak point of high grade steel belt conveyors, GEPPERT-Band now fits smooth-shelled motors, effective immediately. The unribbed surfaces of the motors can be cleaned effectively, so that dirt can no longer accumulate. Additionally, the unventilated design of the motors prevents further dirt particles from being sucked in and reduces the possibility of deposits.
The stainless steel belt conveyors in flat, sloped and kinked design are built for light weights and available in various widths, up to 400 mm. With motor protection class IP 65, total protection against dust contamination and water spray (nozzle) cleaning from any angle are assured. In future, it will therefore be possible to dispense with conventional solutions with fitted motor covers.
The integrated temperature sensors, which are fitted as standard, protect the motor from overheating - depending on power rating, between 140 and 170 °C. The belt conveyors and motors are excellently suited for constant operation in numerous tasks (S1 operation).
In addition, GEPPERT-Band uses the patented hygiene technology CleanTec to fulfil the strictest standards of food, pharmaceutical and chemical industry for high grade steel conveyor belts, beyond the normal level.
The company also looks great in terms of timing: the belt conveyors with smooth-shelled motors are produced to measure within 24 hours.
