The Puget Sound Business Journal's 2011 Fastest-Growing Private Companies list ranks privately held companies with headquarters in Washington State according to percentage of three-year's revenue growth between 2008 and 2010. This year's ranked companies contribute to the state's economy in major ways: Aggregate revenue in 2010 totaled $2.19 billion, with a collective three-year growth of 88.46 percent increase between 2008 and 2010. The companies on this year's list employ more than 5,980 people and collectively generated a 60 percent increase in staff over the past three years.
