Natural Horizons Wellness Centers Launches a Story Board for Participants to Talk About the Impact Steve Jobs Had on Their Lives, Revealing How Apple Helped One Woman Meet Her Husband
(firmenpresse) - FAIRFAX, VA -- (Marketwire) -- 10/18/11 -- Natural Horizons Wellness Centers, an integrative medicine and wellness provider, is donating $5 to pancreatic cancer treatment research each time someone submits a short story describing the impact that recently deceased Apple co-founder Steve Jobs had on their lives.
One female participant wrote:

My husband saw my profile on one of those sites, noticed we went to the same college and had lots in common. From his iPhone, he sent me a message. From that iPhone, we emailed, texted, called and eventually arranged to meet. He walked into my life 3 months before my mom, my best friend, was diagnosed with stage IV metastatic pancreatic cancer at 46 years old..."
The stories submission page has received nearly thirty testimonials since its recent launch and has earned as much as $145 in donations. NHWC has pledged to donate up to $250 but is welcoming outside contributions in order to maximize the donation amount. The money will be distributed between The Lustgarter Foundation, the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, and the Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research.
