Sc. (Econ.), is appointed GroupTreasurer as of November 1, 2009. He joins Ahlstrom from Aventum FundManagement where he worked as Director, Fund Manager. Prior to hisprevious position Kallio has spent for almost twenty years in varioustreasury positions at Stora Enso in Helsinki, Brussels and London.Kari Kohonen, born 1955, B. Sc. (Econ.), is appointed GroupController as of January 1, 2010. Kari Kohonen will relocate back toFinland from the U.S. where he is currently working as VicePresident, Internal Audit. Kohonen has been with Ahlstrom since 1980in various financial positions.Kari Suominen, born 1964, M.Sc. (Eng.), MBA, is appointed ChiefInformation Officer as of October 5. Kari Suominen joins Ahlstromfrom Konecranes, where he has been working since 2002 in varioussenior management positions, with the last position as Director,Manufacturing Operations. In addition to his previous position atKonecranes, Suominen has a long experience in several positionsrelated to IT.Jouni Kallio, Kari Kohonen and Kari Suominen will be based atAhlstrom Corporation's Head Office in Helsinki.
