Augustine Ventures Appoints Consultant to the Board of Directors
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 10/19/11 -- Augustine Ventures Inc. (CNSX: WAW) ("Augustine" or the "Company") would like to announce that John H. Sadowski has been appointed as a Special Consultant to the Board of Directors of the Company. Mr. Sadowski currently serves on the Board of Directors of Anconia Resources Corp. which is a TSX Venture listed company. Mr. Sadowski also served as President and Secretary of Citadel Gold Mines Inc. ("Citadel") from June 2006 to 2011 while overseeing the exploration activities of Citadel's Wawa gold properties which are now part of the Company's Wawa Gold Project. Prior to that, Mr. Sadowski served as VP Explorations and Director of Citadel from 1993 to 2006. Mr. Sadowski has over forty years experience as a senior officer and director of resource companies, a prospector and a pilot.
Mr. Sadowski has an intimate working knowledge of the Wawa area and has been very instrumental in implementing various exploration strategies in the region.

Augustine Ventures Inc. is a junior gold exploration company which has secured an option to earn a 60% interest in the Wawa Gold Project which encompasses 2,345 hectares in McMurray Township, southeast of the town of Wawa. Over 95 percent of the property consists of leases and/or patents for both mineral and surface rights that are easily accessible. The property has a known depth extension to 600 meters, a history of past production from the known deposits and a large number of untested but documented gold occurrences on the property.
Augustine has recently acquired a 100% undivided interest in an additional 161 claim units totalling 2,576 hectares adjacent to its Wawa Gold Project known as the Oakley Lake Property situated in McMurray and Naveau Townships near Wawa, Ontario.
