Arctic Star Exploration Corp. Announces Appointment of Frank D. Hegner as Consultant for Mineral Projects Search
(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 10/19/11 -- Arctic Star Exploration Corp. (TSX VENTURE: ADD) (the "Company" or "Arctic Star") is pleased to announce the appointment of Frank D. Hegner as a consultant to the Company effective October 10, 2011.
Since 1994 Mr. Hegner has held various positions with Rio Tinto Copper Projects Group in Salt Lake City, Utah, RioNor Exploration LLC of Moscow, Russia Resolution Copper Company, Phoenix, Arizona and Rio Tinto Exploration Group, Vancouver, BC managing projects for these companies, including strategic planning, budgeting, corporate and joint venture administration, logistics, infrastructure evaluations, project and financial controls, community and governmental relations, operational safety, land and water acquisitions, site remediation, contract negotiation, tax matters and labor relations. Mr. Hegner has graduated from the London Business School (Strategic Leadership Program), the Duke University (Business Leadership Development Program), the Colorado School of Mines (Graduate Collaborative Program (Mineral Economics)), University of Denver College of Law (Juris Doctor) and the Fort Lewis College (Bachelor of Arts, Russian History). Mr. Hegner has been admitted to practice before the courts of Colorado, the United States District Court for the District of Colorado and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Under the consulting agreement with Mr. Hegner's personal services company, Mr. Hegner will be responsible to find and negotiate for acquisition interests in mineral projects of merit. Arctic Star will pay $10,000 per month and Mr. Hegner will be eligible for stock options under the Company's option plan.
