(Thomson Reuters ONE) - Metso Corporation's company release on November 3, 2009 at 11.15 a.m.Metso's Annual General Meeting decided on March 31, 2009 to establisha Nomination Committee to prepare proposals for the next AnnualGeneral Meeting on the composition of the Board of Directors alongwith the director remuneration.The representatives of the four biggest shareholders are elected tothe Nomination Committee. The Committee additionally comprises asexpert members Jukka Viinanen, the Chairman of the Board of Directorsas well as Jaakko Rauramo the Vice Chairman of the Board ofDirectors, as the Board of Directors appointed member. The right tonominate members to represent shareholders in the Committee belongsto the four shareholders who hold the most votes in Metso on November2, 2009. The Chairman of the Board will convene the NominationCommittee, and the Committee will elect a chairman from among itsmembers.According to the shareholder register, Metso Corporation's fourlargest shareholders on November 2, 2009 were: Solidium Oy(15,695,287 shares and votes or 11.07% of share capital and votes),Cevian Capital II Master Fund L.P.
