To mark the launch of the fragrances, an 'Evening of Scent' took place last month which saw , principle perfumer at Molton Brown, guide guests through the collection, focusing on her personal experiences during the creation process, whilst Souad Katan, Head of Product Marketing & Merchandising delved into the design and the journey embarked on to create the Navigations Through Scent collection.
The introduction of is perfectly timed with the festive retail season and marks the start of Molton Brown's innovative new design strategy including new packaging, branding and imagery. The fragrance collection is beautifully complimented by Molton Brown's core Christmas offering, including gift sets and a limited edition Myrrh Muske & Cypress seasonal home fragrance scent. The illuminata Christmas collection is a deluxe array of gift set boxes, each created with brand hero products and themed selections for him, her and for all. The Seasonal Quartet collection is Limited Edition and will be available exclusively across the Christmas period; with a delicate mix of exotic and spicy ingredients, the Myrrh Muske & Cypress assortment (handwash & lotion duo, Candle and Home Ambiente) will delicately infuse the home and warm the senses.

IUNU - 30 degrees 12'N, 31 degrees 32'E
The jasmine in this floriental-spicy fragrance originates from Egypt and is carefully handpicked to avoid bruising the delicate petals. It is from these fragile petals that the precious jasmine oil, which has a sweet, exotic, floral scent, is extracted.
LIJIANG - 25 degrees 16'N, 110 degrees 16'E
Osmanthus absolute is a rare and delicate flower that is native to China and highly prized for its fruity-floral aroma. The oil from these flowers, which is of such high value that it is found only in the most prized perfumes, is the lead ingredient in this fragrance creating the floral-musky notes that are detectable.
SINGOSARI - 07 degrees 91'S, 112 degrees 65'E
The patchouli oil lead ingredient present in the base note governs this spicy-woody fragrance. The patchouli leaf possesses a rich, woody, earthy aroma with a slight fruity note. The viscous, orangey-amber oil is extracted from the leaves of the two to three foot perennial bush.
APULDRE - 51 degrees 02'N, 0 degrees 47'E
The lead ingredient of this green-aromatic fragrance is the juniper berry, which contains a crisp, highly valuable oil that provides the fizzy top note.
ROGART - 45 degrees 33'N, 63 degrees 9'
This woody-fresh fragrance is a result of the fir balsam lead ingredient. The bark of a North American fir, native to Canada, it is cut and exudes a resin that dries once in contact with air. From this, the resin provides up to 30% of essence with woody, fruity, sweet, pine notes.
Jennifer Jambon - Principal Perfumer
Jennifer Jambon is a graduate of Bio-chemistry at Rennes University and holds a Masters in Flavour & Perfume Chemistry from Le Havre University. She was awarded a distinction in Perfume Studies at the International Institute of Perfumery, Cosmetics & Food Aromas, Versailles. In 2008 she won the title of International Creative Perfumer awarded by the French Society of Perfumers. Jennifer's vocation has taken her from France to Switzerland, Ireland to Chile and she now resides in England, as Principal Perfumer for Molton Brown.
