Vancouver, British Columbia, October 20, 1011 - Qsolar Limited (CNSX:QSL) has
announced a brokered private placement to raise up to $2 million on an exclusive
best efforts basis through Toronto-based Loewen, Ondaatje, McCutcheon Limited.

The company will issue up to 8 million units at $0.25 per unit, with each unit
consisting of one common share and one half of a common share purchase warrant.
Each whole warrant is exercisable at a price of $0.35 for 24 months from the
date of issue. Proceeds of the offering will be used primarily to fund inventory
for the execution of current orders.
QSolar manufactures solar photovoltaic panels. The company has developed a
unique, proprietary, patent pending manufacturing procedure called the Kruciwatt
Spraytek79 manufacturing process.
Under this process, solar panels are manufactured by spraying rather than
laminating.
This process has several advantages:
* Enables direct production of wafers from the molten silicon
* Eliminates up to 50% of material losses that occur during conventional wafer
manufacturing
* Reduces the manufacturing time
* Removes the size limitations common to the laminating process
* Ability to add colours
* Ability to produce solar panels of other surfaces such as roof tiles
All these advantages result in a lower price to the consumer.
QSolar owns its manufacturing and R & D facilities in Shanghai, China, which
operates 2 lines. The company has panels installed in Italy and Spain, is
currently filling several new orders, and expects to sign a large number of
significant orders including with Australia, Venezuela, and even China, over the
next 3 months.
QSolar expects to obtained UL certification for the United States in the near
future, and is now negotiating new orders from that country. The U.S. is
currently ranked fourth in the world for new solar installations, but is
expected to become the largest solar market within a few years.
QSolar currently trades at $0.25, and with approximately 41 million shares
outstanding the company is capitalized at $10 million.
