BigDoor Attracts Technology Veterans; Continues Company Expansion on Heels of OneTrueFan Acquisition
Strong Company Momentum Charms Mobile, Gaming, Analytics and Business Development Executives From Big Fish Games and RealNetworks

(firmenpresse) - SEATTLE, WA -- (Marketwire) -- 10/24/11 -- , the most widely used gamification and loyalty platform, today announced the appointment of four employees including Sean Zhong, Scott Mullins, Fayez Mohamood and Paige Peterson. These team members add to an already momentous year for BigDoor, including its recent acquisition of San-Francisco based OneTrueFan. Additionally, over the last six months BigDoor has grown its publisher client base by 50 percent and tripled its monthly user base. BigDoor's customer roster has quickly grown to over 300 online publishers, including Hosting.com, Major League Baseball and Dell, among others. To meet the increasing demand for its gamification platform, BigDoor has hired more than 25 employees since the beginning of the year, with an additional 15 hires expected over the next six months.

Sean Zhong, who will serve as director of analytics at BigDoor, brings over eight years of experience in analyzing user data, having previously worked as lead software engineer and architect at Amazon and Big Fish Games. During his time at Big Fish, Zhong was responsible for building distributed game engines for Massively Multiplayer Online Games (MMOG), as the team lead and architect. Zhong's other responsibilities included working on analytics within the data warehouse, and serving as business manager of the intelligent merchandising product which provided personalized recommendations to Big Fish customers. Sean holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Cornell University and additionally a B.A. in Computer Science from Cornell.
Scott Mullins joins BigDoor as a mobile product manager and will be responsible for developing and executing mobile strategy for the company's online gaming and social engagement features. Previously, Scott served as the senior director of business-to-business employment at RealNetworks, where he was responsible for technical program management for the company's cloud computing platform. Prior to RealNetworks, Mullins served as mobile manager principle solution architect at Photobucket. Drawing from over 11 years of experience in the mobile sphere, he will bring a great level of expertise to the company.
Scott was granted a Ph.D. from Purdue University and holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue, as well as a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati.
Fayez Mohamood now serves as a product manager for BigDoor. In this role, he is responsible for the consumer experience of the of BigDoor's game elements. Mohamood will also be a liaison between the business and product development teams to determine what elements need to be built into the end-user experience to drive increased consumer engagement. Prior to BigDoor, Fayez formed a small startup named Twenty-Eight Wins, with a colleague. The product, Game Day Typhoon was a social fantasy sports game created exclusively for Facebook. Fayez holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a B.S. in Computer Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology.
Paige Peterson joins BigDoor's business development team, serving as account manager and assisting all new prospects coming to the company. Paige has extensive experience in the product management field, having previously worked at Insight Global, where she served Fortune 500 clients on a daily basis. Paige has a degree in Business Marketing from Washington State University.
