Tentative Agreement Between CAW 1016 and NAV Canada

(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 10/24/11 -- NAV CANADA today announced that a tentative agreement has been reached with the CAW Local 1016 which represents approximately 270 employees involved in training simulation and support to the operation of the ANS. The ratification process will take place over the course of the next several weeks with results known mid November.

NAV CANADA, the country's civil air navigation services provider, is a private sector, non-share capital corporation financed through publicly-traded debt. With operations from coast to coast to coast, NAV CANADA provides air traffic control, flight information, weather briefings, aeronautical information services, airport advisory services and electronic aids to navigation.
