AlertPay Uses Telephone Verification and PhoneID to Reduce Fraud and Spam

After implementing TeleSign's Telephone Verification, AlertPay was able to decrease its fraud rate by five percent -- a significant number given the volume of transactions AlertPay processes every day. The enhanced ability to block non-fixed VoIP numbers with TeleSign PhoneID enabled AlertPay to drive down fraud rates eight percent while alleviating the resource strain of manual reviews. AlertPay also found that just using Telephone Verification was effective in deterring most basic fraudsters.
