McCormick International Roast Gravy, 32g, May Pose Risk Due to Undeclared Milk Allergen

(firmenpresse) - LONDON, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 10/26/11 -- McCormick Canada is voluntarily recalling a limited amount of McCormick International Roast Gravy, 32 g with only Date Code: 1214A, 1214B, 1214C and 1215C. McCormick Canada is warning people with allergies to milk, not to consume the product detailed below. The product may contain milk which is not declared on the label.

The product subject to this recall is:

Only the date codes listed above are affected. The date code information is found embossed on the side edge of the package. Included with this letter are pictures of the package.

The recalled product was distributed across Canada.

There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product.

Consumption of this product may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in persons with allergies to milk.

McCormick Canada is taking immediate action to ensure that all affected product is removed from the marketplace. We recommend that consumers discard affected product immediately.
