Commissioning of a 3.49 Mwp photovoltaic plant in Bourgneuf en Mauges
(France)
Global EcoPower (GEP) is pleased to announce that the photovoltaic plant in
Bourgneuf Mauges (Maine et Loire) was commissioned on 25th October 2011.
This project involved the turnkey construction by GEP, on behalf of the
German group Leonidas Associates, of 55 000 m²of photovoltaic greenhouses
for an installed capacity of 3.49 MWp.
The plant will produce 3,978,600 kWh annual electricity output
corresponding to the consumption of 2 700 people and will prevent the
yearly emission of nearly 1,900 tons of CO2.
Thanks to the greenhouses shelter, the farmer will now be able to start the
culture of its red fruits, free from any weather worries.
