New General Manager for Canto in US
Silicon Valley veteran to head Canto Americas operation and drive tighter partner collaboration
(PresseBox) - SAN FRANCISCO, California ? 27 OCT 2011 ? Canto, maker of Canto Cumulus digital asset management (DAM) software, announced today that Kathleen Gilligan will head the Canto Americas operation. Gilligan aims to strengthen the company?s focus on the enterprise-tailored DAM solutions delivered by Canto Professional Services and Canto partners.
?I?m delighted to join the Canto Americas team,? said Gilligan. ?Working closely with our partners and Canto Professional Services, we?ll deliver Cumulus-based digital asset management solutions that generate even more immediate and significant returns for customers.?
Gilligan?s tenure of executive positions with industry influencers Symantec, OnDemand and AMR Research ensured she had the knowledge and leadership skills Canto CEO Ulrich Knocke required.
?Kathleen Gilligan?s executive experience in such a wide variety of businesses made her the ideal choice for Canto,? he said. ?This will be good for Canto, our Canto Americas partners, and Canto customers too.?
In addition to the companies mentioned, Gilligan has worked with PGP, CollabNet, Building IQ and Ramco Systems. As a consultant, she served clients in high-tech, clean-tech and other sectors as a sales and marketing advisor and interim executive focused on sales, business development, product launch and strategy.
Gilligan will work from Canto?s San Francisco office.
