UITP - International Association of Public Transport
(Thomson Reuters ONE) -
MEDIA ADVISORY
Modern society is creating new mobility needs and new usages. Congestion, lack
of energy resources and urban space are issues that can be tackled by making
public transport citizens' preferred mode of choice.
To achieve this, public transport companies need to meet two challenges: on the
one hand, they must keep pace with their clients' needs in order to deliver
quality innovative services and make people change their attitudes and
behaviour; on the other, they must change their corporate culture from a fleet
manager to a customer-oriented company and boost the sector's potential and
attractiveness.
The International Association of Public Transport (UITP) and the international
public transport community will demonstrate that is possible to "think out of
the box" by proposing good practices aiming to deliver lifestyle services and
create a new business culture.
Press and media are invited to join the conference Making Public Transport part
of a modern urban lifestyle? Yes, we can! & UITP Marketing Awards or ask for
