(Thomson Reuters ONE) - The Komax Group is announcing 15 redundancies at its Rotkreuz plantas a result of the unsatisfactory order situation in its Solarbusiness unit's thin-film segment. By contrast, the crystallinesegment's order situation has improved in recent months.The Komax Group is responding to the unsatisfactory order situationin its Solar business unit's thin-film segment by modifying thestructures at its Rotkreuz plant. There will be around 15redundancies and short-time working will be stepped up. Customersremain reticent about investing in thin-film systems.In contrast to the thin-film segment, the crystalline business, whichaccounts for some 80 percent of Komax Solar's sales, has performedwell.
