The delivery entailsthe construction of the contribution system from the definition phasethrough to implementation.Keva is responsible for providing and financing employee pensions forlocal government officeholders and employees. Some 500,000 personsare covered by the local government pension scheme, and pensions arepaid out to nearly 326,000 people. Keva's member organisationsinclude all Finnish cities, other municipalities and joint municipalboards, and the majority of municipal associations and limitedliability companies. The contribution system is responsible forcalculating the pension contributions of Keva's member organisations."At Keva we have initiated several projects to reform our basicsystems. With these projects, we are gradually phasing out outdatedarchitectural and technological solutions. The contribution system isone target of these reforms. In addition to reforming the technology,the aim is to improve the functionality of contribution calculationsso that we can enhance and improve our services related to thecalculation of pension contributions. Tieto has long and extensiveexperience in successfully delivering employee pension systems tovarious customers.
