Berlin, 2.11.2011: Christoph Gerlinger, founder and CEO of Frogster
Interactive Pictures AG, will resign from the executive board and his other
roles at the Frogster Group as mutually agreed per year end 2011 after
almost 7 years at the top of the company to take on new entrepreneurial
challenges.
Frogster was acquired by Gameforge in 2010. Christoph Gerlinger will stay
closely connected with both Frogster and Gameforge and remain available as
a consultant.
Gerhard Koning, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Frogster: 'Christoph
Gerlinger founded Frogster in 2005 and took it public the very next year.
He established Frogster as one of the leading European online games
publishers with foreign subsidiaries and over 200 employees and conducted
its recent integration into the company group of its new main shareholder
constructively. We thank him in the name of the Supervisory Board and the
employees for his entrepreneurial achievements and the value added for the
shareholders.' Alexander Rösner, CEO of the main shareholder Gameforge and
Member of the Supervisory Board of Frogster, adds: 'We would like to
express our heartfelt thanks to Christoph Gerlinger for his dedicated work,
the trustful cooperation and his substantial contributions to Frogster's
success also after the takeover by Gameforge.'
