Devonhill Technology Partners announced today that the company will immediately begin efforts to list the company in the UK public markets. As part of those efforts, the company will not attempt to maintain its current listing in the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. The company cites the lack of institutional support in the current market as one of the key reasons to committing to seek a UK listing. The company intends to pursue all opportunities that will provide the listing of the company’s shares either by the end of 2011 or early first quarter 2012.
Devonhill Managing Director, Richard Iamunno stated “The decision not to continue our current listing on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and the move to the UK public markets was based upon managements’ belief that it is in the best interests of our shareholders to move to a market that is more suited to our current capital structure. We feel that the existing company capital structure is best suited for the UK public markets and that changing market conditions are now more favourable for a UK PLC to find capital market support in the UK than currently available in Germany.
The company will explore all its UK listing options including both the AIM and PLUS Markets; either for direct listing or merger with a strong commitment to maintaining current shareholder equity positions while increasing shareholder value. The company will make further announcements as it gets closer to finalizing a listing path”
