Share Registry Changes in Australia and Canada

(firmenpresse) - BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA -- (Marketwire) -- 11/04/11 -- Intrepid Mines Limited (TSX: IAU)(ASX: IAU) (the 'Company') advises that, with effect from opening of business on 7 November 2011, the Company's share registry management services globally will transfer to:

Advanced Share Registry Services in Australia and Equity Financial Trust Company in Canada will cease to be responsible for share registry management services from close of business on 4 November 2011. The change has been initiated to reduce overheads and improve communication efficiency.
