Darth Vader to Make Special Appearance to Mark Launch of New TV Advertising Campaign
(firmenpresse) - LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM -- (Marketwire) -- 11/04/11 -- To celebrate the launch of the new Star Wars advertising campaign from Currys and PC World, Darth Vader is making a special appearance at the Currys store on Lakeside Retail Park, Essex on Sunday 6th November. Currys, best known for their top selection of electricals such as , iPads and cameras, are very excited for the Sith Lord arrival.
Darth Vader will be at the store between 11am and 3pm to pose for pictures and our trained Currys staff will be there throughout the day to help customers find the perfect product from a range of the latest technology.
A spokesperson from Currys West Thurrock says: "The new TV advert featuring Darth himself was filmed here at the Currys West Thurrock store, so we wanted to give our customers the opportunity to meet him in person. We are really excited to have him at the store for the day and hope that the customers are too!"
This year's advert focuses on the all powerful Lord Vader who inspects and approves all 14,000 employees of Currys and PC World, re-creating the scene in Return of the Jedi when Lord Vader inspects the progress of the Death Star and reiterates the lengths to which Currys and PC World will go to in order to provide an outstanding customer service. Whether a customer is looking for information regarding , cameras or any sort of gadget, both and have the answers.
