Appointments in Kesko Food's Management Board

KESKO FOOD LTD PRESS RELEASE 07.11.2011 AT 12.00
Petteri Niemi, 44, Master of Food Sciences, has been appointed Vice President
for the Commerce unit effective 1 December 2011. He will be responsible for the
category management, purchasing and sales of groceries to K-food stores, for the
chains' joint marketing and Pirkka. Kespro Ltd's Managing Director will also
report to Petteri Niemi. Petteri Niemi has been the Vice President for Kesko
Food's logistics and IT management since 2005. Minna Kurunsaari, the present
Vice President for the Commerce unit, has been appointed member of Kesko's
Corporate Management Board responsible for the home and speciality goods trade
and Kesko's electronic marketing and services projects effective 1 December
2011, which has been announced earlier.
Kari Heiskanen, 53, Master of Laws, MQ, has been appointed Vice President
responsible for Kesko's store site operations in Russia and Kesko Food's Country
Director for Russia effective 1 January 2012. At present, he is the Vice
President for Kesko Food's Retail Services. Kari Heiskanen joined Kesko in 1989.
Jarno Kivinen, 37, Master of Laws, has been appointed Kesko Food's Vice
President for Retail Services, responsible for store site and retailer
operations and legal affairs effective 1 January 2012. Jarno Kivinen has held
several Legal Counsel positions in the Kesko Group since 2005.
Kari Heiskanen, Jarno Kivinen and Petteri Niemi are members of Kesko Food's
Management Board and report to President Terho Kalliokoski.
