Game Industry Leader Jamil Moledina Joins Rapidly Expanding Funzio
(firmenpresse) - SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 11/07/11 -- Funzio, developer of action-packed AAA quality social games for mobile, Facebook, and Google+, today announced that Jamil Moledina joined as Vice President of Business Development where he will manage the company's business with platforms and partners, while serving on the executive team.
Moledina joins Funzio from EA Partners, the third party studio of Electronic Arts (EA), where he was the Director of Business Development. In this role, he sought out innovative developers, advocated them through the greenlight process and managed the business of the games he signed. While there, he created EA Partners' third party digital publishing business, signing the best creative indie game developers to crossplatform digital distribution deals. Prior to EA, he was the Executive Director of the Game Developers Conference (GDC), the largest professionals-only event in the game industry, where he managed the overall business of the event and curated the editorial content of the conference and keynotes.
