Cistera Networks Delivers Strong Operating Profit
(firmenpresse) - PLANO, TX -- (Marketwire) -- 11/08/11 -- Cistera Networks® (PINKSHEETS: CNWT), a leading provider of enterprise application platforms and engines for unified communications, announces reported results for the three months ended September 30th, 2011 (all figures in U.S. dollars and U.S. GAAP except EBITDA).
Net operating income for the quarter was $0.06 million, or $0.01 per share. Earnings before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization (EBITDA) were positive $81,214 or 16% of revenue.
Revenue for the second quarter of fiscal 2012 was $0.503 million, down from $0.57 million from the same quarter of last year. Net operating income for three months ending September 30, 2011 was $9,221. Six months to September 30, 2011 net operating loss is $526.
"The company is making solid operating income and EBITDA but interest costs continue to drag on overall profitability," says Cistera CEO Greg Royal. "We continue to have strong gross margins and our expenses are under control despite a difficult on-going trading environment reflected in lower revenue numbers. Although we have a strong pipeline, it is obvious that project approval times have dramatically increased during this US recession."
The highlights for second quarter 2012 include the delivery of Cistera's healthcare management system MedQMS to four new customers, the expansion of the development team, the completion of a disaster recovery project with Sipera Systems and the delivery of Cistera's healthcare scheduling and notification system.
