This national board certification for civil litigation is the available to new members of this illustrious organization.
The (ABOTA) is a nationwide organization that has chapters in all 50 states. Founded in 1958, ABOTA has had as its core purpose for more than 50 years the preservation of trial by jury for civil cases. This important civil right has been under attack for decades, and therefore ABOTA seeks to enlist only the best professional advocates in the cause of preserving this right. Membership in ABOTA is by invitation only, and in order to qualify, an attorney must be well-known for having an honorable reputation as well as a significant record of trial success.
