Simmons comes to Solera Networks from Bit9 where he led Federal Government & Southeast area sales. Prior to that, he was vice president, North America sales at E2open where he oversaw the major account relationships and increased revenues 75 percent. He served as vice president of sales at Oracle where he was instrumental in directing the company's strategy for becoming a market leader for enterprise infrastructure solutions. Rick also served as vice president of sales at Oblix, and held senior roles at Silicon Graphics and Apple Computer.
