University Park Veterinarians Committed to AAHA Accreditation

In order to receive accreditation, the vet clinic had to meet strict standards and pass a comprehensive inspection that evaluates general animal care procedures, vet training and continuing education, hospital record keeping, and pain management protocol. AAHA only accredits 12% of the vet hospitals in the United States and Canada. The , Florida hospital provides , emergency care and surgical care for the , , and communities.

Established in 1933, AAHA is an independent, professional association of more than 36,000 animal care providers in the United States and Canada that determines accreditation standards for animal care. According to AAHA, less than 15% of animal hospitals meet the AAHA's rigorous standards for achieving accreditation.
