(TSX-V: MPS) (FWB: IJA1) (the"Company") is pleased to provide a drilling update on explorationactivities on the Raney gold project and the Godfrey Gold project,both located southwest of Timmins, within the Porcupine MiningDivision of northeastern Ontario.A four hole, 800 metre diamond drill program on the 3500 acre Raneyproject has been completed. Drilling was planned to test the down dipcontinuity of a gold bearing structure which has returned significantgold intersections including 7.7 g/t Au over 6.8 metres in holeR-09-04, 6.5 g/t Au over 8.0 metres in hole R-09-08, and 3.5 g/t Auover 6.8 metres in hole R-99-01. Drill core is currently beinglogged and split and are being sent to ALS Chemex for analysis. Drilllocations are limited to the north and east by wet ground, but willbe accessible for additional drilling during a winter drill program.In other news, ground geophysical surveys are now complete on the 700acres Godfrey Gold project which is located in the active WestTimmins area. Induced polarization surveys have delineated aprospective chargeability anomaly coincident with a resistivityanomaly extending for 275 metres across the prospective portion ofthe property. Five grab samples collected during the initialproperty visit returned assay values between 0.01 g/t Au to 76.4 g/tAu. The higher grade sample of quartz vein material contained pyriteand chalcopyrite. Geo., a qualified person as defined by NationalInstrument 43-101.The Company has a quality control program to ensure best practices inthe sampling and analysis of drill core. At the drill site, the BQsize core is placed in core boxes and delivered to a secure coreprocessing facility. The core is "split" using a diamond saw byexperienced exploration technicians and logged by Todd Keast. Half ofthe core is left in the core box as a permanent reference of theinterval sampled and half of the designated sample interval isdelivered in sealed bags for preparation at ALS Chemex Prep Lablocated in Sudbury, Ontario, with the pulps shipped to ALS ChemexAssay Laboratory in Vancouver, B.C. All samples are assayed for goldby Fire Assay with an AA finish, using 30 gram samples. Accuracy ofresults are tested through the systematic inclusion of blanks andreference standards.
