Accelerated Analytics Offers Immediate Access to Sales Data by Connecting SaaS Offering to B2B Integration Cloud Platform
(firmenpresse) - GAITHERSBURG, MD -- (Marketwire) -- 11/14/11 -- GXS today announced that Accelerated Analytics, a provider of retail point-of-sale (POS) analytic services, has joined the GXS GridConnect Partner Program. Accelerated Analytics has integrated its SaaS-based service with GXS Trading Grid, giving their customers pre-connected access to some of the world's largest retailers.
Launched , GXS GridConnect enables independent software vendors (ISVs), software-as-a-service (SaaS) vendors and cloud services providers to embed the GXS Trading Grid into their applications, using the integration cloud platform to accelerate customer enablement, on-boarding and time-to-revenue.
Accelerated Analytics is an outsourced software-as-a-service (SaaS) that gives retail vendors visibility to their sales and inventory across multiple retailers by aggregating and simplifying the daily stream of POS data. By using the pre-built views in the cloud-based service, vendors can quickly identify problem stores and avoid out-of-stocks.

But for vendors who work with dozens or hundreds of retailers, making sense of a stream of POS data is often cumbersome, taking up to 20 hours to digest a week's worth of spreadsheets or EDI 852 documents from thousands of stores. By having pre-connected access to the GXS Trading Grid, vendors can reduce retailer setup times from weeks to days, eliminating the sign-offs from operations, technology and legal.
