The initiatives taken represent a commitment from the firm to ensure its continued success while raising the bar for client service, and come as a result of ongoing analyses and reviews of the firm's financial operations over the past few years. The results have also prompted the appointment of new executive committee members as well as a national retail sales manager to recruit, manage, and retain top brokers.
The firm began its restructuring plans recently by downsizing its retail sales team by approximately 10% throughout its branches. The downsizing is part of a comprehensive restructuring plan that includes modernizing many of its internal policies and systems, and implementing new sales management distribution, and product initiatives. The focus of these changes is to enhance support of existing top producing brokers and to create a compelling value proposition for quality brokers who may want to join Union's sales team.
