Technopac International Inc. Ships Second Purchase Order of Non-PVC (Poly Vinyl Chloride) Eco-friendly ewrap™ Food Packaging Stretch Film to United States West Cost Distributor
Toronto, Canada, November 21, 2011, Technopac International Inc., (Frankfurt: DE:T71) an environmentally conscious packaging company registered in Germany, is pleased to announce that the Company has released a second shipment of their eco-friendly non-PVC polyethylene ewrap™ food wrap to the Company’s distributor on the west coast of the United States.
The Company’s American west coast distributor has three locations on the west coast. This distribution channel is expected to begin generating an escalating volume due to the number of ordinances passed. California in particular over the past couple years has formed a paradigm shift designed to convert the region into a more environmentally responsible territory.
“California plans on banning PVC for food wrap by 2013, forming a considerable market for Technopac, and we expect that the ordinances of the state of California only represent the foundation of a movement that will create a robust nationwide demand.” stated stated Stefan Gudmundsson, President, Technopac International Inc.
This bill, on and after January 1, 2013, would prohibit a retail establishment, as defined, from selling, distributing, or importing in commerce a rigid polyvinyl chloride packaging container, as defined. The bill, on and after January 1, 2014, would prohibit a retail establishment from selling, distributing, or importing in commerce a flexible polyvinyl chloride packaging container, as defined.
It was recently announced that the Technopac RB 80 product is initially slated for launch into the large bakery sector in North America and will subsequently expand to other regions. Subsequently the strategy is to follow up with a plan to implement an aggressive marketing plan to contact to Company’s extensive sales connections with large bakery concerns, and collaborate to provide solutions. For each RB 80 product placement, Technopac will bundle its machinery technology with polyethylene bread bag film (consumable) to be used over the life of each placement, ensuring a secondary significant and dependable maintenance revenues.
Technopac has secured the exclusive distribution rights to the North American, Central & South American and Russian markets for the RB 80 high speed bread packaging machine from its machinery technology partner in Italy. Used together with the ewrap™ film, this product can transform the cost efficiency and waste reduction of bakeries throughout the world.
