Today more than one thousand customers use Specops Deploy as their main solution for distributing operating systems and software. With the new version of Specops Deploy, both users and computers get OS, applications and other software fully automated and faster using a role-based management approach. Specops Deploy 4.5 uses existing Microsoft infrastructure and requires no additional hardware investment. Specops Deploy 4.5 includes the following features:
Greatly enhanced image management (import any image file, base imported image on previous files, replace previous files)
Enhanced integration with Windows Update and WSUS during operating system deployment
Client Side Extension (CSE) initiated re-install of an operating system
Export software deployment feedback and software deployment package ordering
User interface enhancements
