Spiral Communications is an established ISP that specializes in high speed internet, IT support and wireless networks. Its services include point-to-point IP connectivity and VoIP at speeds and uptime as reliable as a wired network.
The company needed a backhaul solution capable of achieving full gigabit speeds to support their growing network. The closest fiber point-of-presence (POP) was seven miles away in nearby Nebraska. After exploring several alternative radio products, Justin Hornberger, vice president of operations at Spiral Communications found that BridgeWave's FlexPort µWave was the only solution capable of achieving the necessary bandwidth at the range required.
