Charities Desperately Need a Laugh Says World's First Comedy Website for Not-For-Profit Sector
(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 11/28/11 -- It's not easy to be a charity these days. Donations are down. Government funding is insecure. Budgets are tight. Costs are increasing. Now, there's a way they can reduce their stress and have a laugh with the world's first comedy website devoted to the not-for-profit sector - NP Humour.
"The charity sector is totally stressed out. They're grumpy and depressed. That's why we decided to create NP Humour, so that they could laugh," said NP Humour creator and non-profit expert John Suart
More than 5,000 people from Canada, the US and the UK have visited NP Humour since it began in August.
NP Humour takes a humorous look at every day aspects of typical not-for-profit organizations. In September, in chronicled the troubles the Super Villain Foundation had raising money.
