Donald C. Walkovik Joins Brock Capital Group
(firmenpresse) - NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwire) -- 11/28/11 -- Donald C. Walkovik has retired as a partner of Sullivan & Cromwell LLP and joined Brock Capital Group as a Senior Managing Director. Mr. Walkovik will help lead the firm's mergers and acquisitions line of business, bringing decades of experience as a Sullivan & Cromwell partner working with companies and bankers on hundreds of financings, mergers and acquisitions, corporation restructurings and other investment banking matters for companies and projects in North America, Asia and Africa. His work at Sullivan & Cromwell included opening and managing for several years the firm's Hong Kong office. He also served as the practice coordinator of the firm's corporate reorganization group and as a managing partner of its general practice group.
"Don has extraordinary capital markets and other investment banking knowledge; he will add immeasurably to the capacity, depth and sophistication of our Investment Banking team," said Charles L. Brock, the firm's Chairman and CEO.
The senior Investment Banking team and supporting members include Ennius Bergsma, Norman H. Brown, Jr., Alain Lebec, Charles O. Svenson and Stephen R. Wilson. The Brock Team's experience includes mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, performance improvement, assessing prospective investments, due diligence, valuations and exit strategies. Mr. Walkovik will bolster the team's deep industry knowledge in the financial services, transportation, metals and mining and energy and alternative energy sectors.
Mr. Walkovik has a B.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
