AGO AG Energie + Anlagen publishes the figures for the third quarter of
2011
- Sales revenue: EUR million 52.872 (+61.6 percent)
- Gross profit from sales: EUR million 2.030 (+61.5 percent)
- EBIT: EUR million -0.245 (EUR million +0.612)
- Incoming orders of EUR million 34.771 at economically healthy workload
Kulmbach, 29 November 2011: AGO AG Energie + Anlagen (WKN: A0LR41, ISIN:
DE000A0LR415) has also continued its growth trend during the third quarter
of 2011.
AGO AG Energie + Anlagen achieved sales revenue of EUR million 52.872
during the first nine months of 2011. Compared to prior year's period, this
corresponds to an increase of EUR million 20.149 or 61.6 percent. With
this, sales exceeded already after nine months the amount of sales of the
whole preceding year 2010. Gross profit from sales rose from EUR million
1.257 during the previous year to EUR million 2.030 and hence by EUR
million 0.773 or 61.5 percent. Result from ordinary business activities
(EBIT) improved from EUR million -0.857 by EUR million 0.612 to EUR million
-0.245. Consolidated result for the period progressed from EUR million
-1.124 by EUR million 0.391 to EUR million -0.733.
Earnings per share (number of shares: 4,000,000) totaled to EUR -0.18
during the first nine months of 2011 (prior year's period: EUR -0.28).
Equity of AGO AG Energie + Anlagen equaled EUR million 4.026 at reporting
date of the period 30 September 2011 (31 December 2010: EUR million 4.841).
This corresponds to an equity ratio of 13.3 percent (31 December 2010: 13.1
percent). Liquid funds amounted to EUR million 3.259 at reporting date.
'During the third quarter of 2011, we were consequently pursuing our
strategic targets. For the future, we will focus on the high-margin
divisions natural gas driven combined heat and power plants as well as
absorption chillers. Incoming orders of EUR million 34.771 and order
backlog of EUR million 25.181 on 30 September 2011 underline already the
successfully implemented market position of AGO AG as engineering company.
Against the backdrop of carefully selected orders by simultaneously timing
an economically healthy degree of workload, we are most satisfied with the
order situation. For the year 2011, we expect a balanced EBIT, which might
be affected by restructuring measures totaling approximately over EUR
million 1.000 but also by processing the low-margin orders -accepted during
the previous crisis year 2010,' said Hans Ulrich Gruber, Spokesman of the
Management Board of AGO AG Energie + Anlagen.
