(Thomson Reuters ONE) - Almere, 4 December 2009 - The Supervisory Board of USG People N.V.intends to appoint Herman van Campenhout as CEO with effect from 1March 2010. Cees Veerman will be nominated by the Supervisory Boardfor election as the new chairman of the Supervisory Board of USGPeople.The Supervisory Board intends to appoint Herman van Campenhout as CEOof USG People N.V. Herman van Campenhout (1960) has worked since 2001for Reed Elsevier, where he currently holds the position of CEO ofthe Science and Technology Division. Between 1984 and 2001 he heldvarious posts with Royal Dutch Shell Group. The Supervisory Boardstates: "We are pleased that Herman van Campenhout will be joiningthe Executive Board of USG People in the role of CEO. In Herman vanCampenhout, we believe we have found a CEO who will develop USGPeople's strategy in further depth and will work enthusiastically andenergetically to promote it. Between 2002 and2007, Cees Veerman (1949) was Minister of Agriculture, Nature andFood Quality. He is currently professor at the University of Tilburgand Wageningen University and is also a member of the SupervisoryBoards of Barenbrug B.V., Rabobank Nederland and Koninklijke ReesinkN.V., among other things. Cees Veerman will be recommended by theSupervisory Board for appointment by the General Meeting ofShareholders.
