(PresseBox) - With the new transparent LCD, eyevis is presenting a revolutionary novelty for digital signage and presentation applications.
The new transpartent LCDs are available in sizes 22" and 46", where the 22" version is available in colour or black/white, the 46" version is available in colour as a standard.
The displays itself doesn't have a backlight, the visibility of the content is reached through an illumination at the back level of the LCD. The "missing" backlight unit means also that the LCD itself has a very low power consumption, which is approx. 90% lower than normal LCD monitors.
The displays offer a high light transmission, which ensures a contrasty image. The transparent LCD allows to look through the monitor, for example to see an exhibit or product which is placed behind and at the same time information can be shown on the display.
With the transparent LCDs you achieve attentiveness in museums, POI or on exhibitions. The displays are optionally also available with interactive elements as for example touch screens. This new technology offers new display possibilities, which are blasting the borders of creativity. The new LCD from eyevis has a diagonal of 46'' (117cm), with a 16:9 format and a resolution of 1366 x 768 WXGA.
