Solgate Celebrates Six Months of Selective Emitter Technology and Introduces the Potting Silicone J-Box

(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 12/01/11 -- Solgate Inc., Canada's first large-scale PV manufacturer, announced today the celebration of the sixth consecutive month of use of selective emitter cells in their M Series panels. President Vadim Lyubchenko also announced the introduction of the potting silicone junction box.

Vadim Lyubchenko made the following announcement today at the Solgate's headquarters: "Solgate is proud to be at the forefront of solar technology in Canada. Today we celebrate the sixth month anniversary of using the selective emitter cells in our manufacturing process. We recognized the importance of adding the selective emitter technology, so that our clients can benefit from improved module efficiency. Solgate's M Series panels perform better in lower light conditions. Our clients have benefited from higher returns because of our proactive approach to producing modules."

In addition, Solgate announced the replacement of their j-box with the Hosiden potting silicone junction box. A potting silicone is far more reliable in resisting the rigours of Ontario's shifting weather by protecting the j-box components with a silicone filled box. "In order to protect the ribbon wire connection from corrosion and against moisture ingress, we've integrated the potting silicone j-box into our modules", added Vadim Lyubchenko. "Our installers and distributors have the peace of mind that they are supplying their clients with a long lasting, robust, high performance panel."
