ROK Opens Office in Austin Texas to Manage the Deployment of RHS across
America

2nd December 2011 - ROK Global PLC, the mobile and web technology
development company, has today announced, following the existing successful
deployments and on-going trials of its ROK Homeland Security (RHS) service
with several US law enforcement agencies, that it has opened an office in
Austin, Texas, to focus entirely on the future development and deployment
of RHS technologies across the United States.
Commenting, Jonathan Kendrick, Chairman and CEO of ROK said 'Given the
success of RHS to date and the pipeline of sales we are expecting, we have
decided now is the time to split our US operations into two offices whereby
we will retain our office in Los Angeles to manage all other aspects of
ROK's business in the US and focus our development of our RHS business from
our new office in Austin.'
ROK Homeland Security in the US is headed by military, Homeland Security
and law enforcement veteran, Blake Sawyer.
RHS, developed by ROK, is a unique mobile phone-based security asset
service which provides real-time, secure technologies to assist law
enforcement officers in the gathering and management of information in a
variety of formats including encrypted data-based communications and
improved spatial awareness capabilities.
RHS has been specifically designed for use in counter-terrorism operations,
criminal investigations, counter-narcotic operations, physical security,
evidence-gathering and field communications.
