Alexander Land heads External Communications at Open Grid Europe
(PresseBox) - With effect from 1 December 2011, Alexander Land is in charge of External Communications at Open Grid Europe GmbH. He has also assumed the function of Press Spokesman.
In this new capacity, Land is responsible for press and public relations at Germany's largest gas transmission system operator. In addition, he will develop a sector focusing on public and political affairs in order to intensify the exchange of views and ideas with external stakeholders and to position Open Grid Europe in the national and international energy debate.
Alexander Land has over 11 years of professional experience in the energy industry. He started as press officer at E.ON Energie AG, Munich. Following the market launch of E WIE EINFACH Strom & Gas GmbH on 1 February 2007, he took charge of corporate communications at this company, the first nationwide power and gas supplier. On 1 August 2009, he moved to Open Grid Europe GmbH, Essen, where he headed internal communications and customer communications until November 2011.
