STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE 8 DECEMBER 2009 at9.40 a.m.Notification according to Chapter 2, Section 10 of the FinnishSecurities Market ActInvesco Limited has through Invesco Fund Managers Limited subscribedthe 14,432,000 shares offered in the directed share issue of BiotieTherapies Corp. (the "Company" or "Biotie"). Invesco's ownership inthe Company will exceed 1/20 (i.e. 5 %) of the total number of sharesand votes in the Company upon the new shares becoming registered onor about 14 December 2009.
