Best Boy Entertainment is proud to announce the release of Yule Tree (), its first Augmented Reality App. Now available in the App Store for Apple mobile devices, Yule Tree is a Christmas App with a difference. Owners can decorate a selection of six different trees and then display them as 3D objects in almost any environment. Augmented reality (AR) represents the future of the mobile experience and Yule Tree delivers it to consumers in charming fashion.
AR offers a new visual dimension by superimposing a layer of digital information on the real world with the aid of an electronic device. The Yule Tree App produces a holographic image by combining a camera like the one found in the iPad with a printed marker to display a customized 3D Christmas tree.
