2012 Top 100 Global Infrastructure Projects List Released
The 5th Annual Global Strategic Infrastructure Leadership Forum; High-Value Projects, High-Level Alliances, World Class Expertise

The total estimated value of the projects is nearly US $800 billion, double the value of the Top 100 Projects for 2011. The list is being released in the lead-up to the to be held in London, February 22-24, 2012. The theme of this year's Global Forum is "High-Value Projects, High Level Alliances, World Class Expertise." London is a natural location for the Forum, given the city's position as a hub of two critical infrastructure values, world trade and financial expertise.
According to Norman F. Anderson, President and CEO of CG/LA Infrastructure LLC, "At a time of enormous challenge, the Global Forum brings leaders of the world's most important projects together to increase the velocity of project design and finance, and to optimize the opportunity creation potential in each project." More than 500 executives, from private and public sectors around the world, will participate in the Forum. "We are creating a new model for global infrastructure."
The Middle East and Asia are key players on this year's list. Middle Eastern/North African countries, led by the Gulf States, are creating the fastest growing infrastructure market in the world, with over $200 billion in projects.
