(Thomson Reuters ONE) - Oriola-KD Corporation Stock Exchange Release 9 December 2009 at 12.30pmIn the partial demerger of Oriola-KD Corporation's subsidiary OriolaOy which will be implemented on 1 January 2010, the Nordic HealthcareTrade business of Oriola Oy, including all related assets andliabilities will be transferred to Oriola-KD Healthcare Oy, a companyto be established. The Pharmaceutical Trade business and all otherassets and liabilities of Oriola Oy will remain in Oriola Oy.Oriola Oy and Oriola-KD Healthcare Oy are fully owned subsidiaries ofOriola-KD Corporation. The partial demerger will clarify the Groupstructure and enhance the opportunities to develop the PharmaceuticalWholesale and Healthcare Trade businesses in Finland.In connection with the partial demerger, the Vice President ofOriola-KD Group's Pharmaceutical Trade Finland and member ofOriola-KD Group's Management Team, Mr. Jukka Niemi will as of 1January 2010 be appointed to the position of Managing Director ofOriola Oy in addition to his current responsibilities.
