GoviEx Uranium Appoints Founder Govind Friedland as Chairman of the Board
Company Director Charles Scorer Appointed as CEO
(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 12/12/11 -- The GoviEx Uranium Board of Directors today announced that founder Govind Friedland has been appointed Chairman of the company's Board of Directors. Charles Scorer, who has been a GoviEx director since 2011, has taken over as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Jean Lamarre will act as Deputy Chairman of GoviEx and Chairman of GoviEx's Nigerien subsidiary.
Mr. Scorer previously was Managing Director of Nufcor South Africa and CEO of Nufcor International, a London-based uranium and nuclear fuel marketing company. As an accredited mechanical engineer, Mr. Scorer brings extensive management and operational skills to GoviEx and an in-depth understanding of the uranium industry, uranium processing, transportation and marketing.
