SIRIOS Resources Inc.: Results from the Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders

(firmenpresse) - MONTREAL, QUEBEC -- (Marketwire) -- 12/13/11 -- SIRIOS RESOURCES INC. (TSX VENTURE: SOI) announces that all the resolutions that were presented at the annual and special meeting on December 1st, 2011, were approved by the shareholders. These resolutions include the nomination of the directors and the auditors as well as the approval of the special resolution allowing the distribution to Sirios' shareholders shares of its subsidiary, Khalkos Exploration Inc., on the basis of one (1) common share of Khalkos for each tranche of twenty (20) common shares held of Sirios.

Shareholders elected Luc Cloutier, Roger Doucet, Dominique Doucet, Andre Lacroix and Frederic Sahyouni to the Board of Directors.

Moreover, during its first board meeting, held on December 7, 2011, Frederic Sahyouni was re-elected as Chief Financial Officer of the Company, and Dominique Doucet as President and Chief Executive Officer. Luc Cloutier, Roger Doucet, and Dominique Doucet were appointed members of the audit committee.
